Aaradhya Eye Care ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Aaradhya Eye Care website and patient portal (collectively, the "Service").   • Appointment data: preferred doctor, date, time slot, visit history, and booking confirmations.
  • Payment information: transaction amount, order ID, payment ID, payment status, and payment method. We do not store your full card, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay.
  • Authentication data: phone verification via one-time passwords (OTP) and session tokens used to keep you signed in.
  • Device & usage data: browser type, IP address, app/website interactions, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Health-related information you choose to share: appointment notes, visit records, and settings related to your care within the patient portal.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage your patient account.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and record ophthalmology appointments.
  • Process consultation fee payments through our payment partner.
  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service-related notifications.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • Improve platform security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and clinical record-keeping requirements.

4. Payment Processing (Razorpay)

Consultation fees for booked appointments are collected online in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway licensed to operate in India.

When you pay for an appointment, your payment is initiated on our platform and completed on Razorpay's secure checkout. Razorpay may collect payment instrument details, billing metadata, and fraud-prevention signals according to its own privacy policy.

We receive limited payment confirmation data (such as payment ID, order ID, amount, and status) to verify your booking. We do not have access to your complete payment credentials.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as described below:

  • With healthcare providers and clinic staff involved in your appointment and treatment.
  • With Razorpay and related payment processors to complete and verify transactions.
  • With technology providers that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, authentication, and messaging), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • When required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • To protect the rights, safety, and security of patients, staff, and our organization.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal and appointment information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Payment transaction records may be retained for accounting, audit, and compliance purposes in line with applicable Indian laws.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and payment verification mechanisms.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
